From fa9ee9c4b9885dfdf8eccac19b8b4fc8a7c53288 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Uwe=20Kleine-K=C3=B6nig?= Date: Tue, 22 Mar 2011 16:34:05 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] include/linux/err.h: add a function to cast error-pointers to a return value MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit PTR_RET() can be used if you have an error-pointer and are only interested in the eventual error value, but not the pointer. Yields the usual 0 for no error, -ESOMETHING otherwise.
