From a449f12bfe2f56c7975816d870c0bc0ef4d03125 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Uwe=20Kleine-K=C3=B6nig?= Date: Tue, 18 Jul 2017 12:59:41 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] dt-bindings: serial/rs485: make rs485-rts-delay optional MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit There are a few device trees that specify one of the already optional properties without also having the up to now required property rs485-rts-delay. Additionally there is no technical reason to require rs485-rts-delay and that's also what most drivers implement. So give existing users and implementers a blessing and document rs485-rts-delay as optional.
