From: Peter Zijlstra Date: Wed, 31 May 2017 15:52:03 +0000 (+0200) Subject: x86/apic: Add TSC_DEADLINE quirk due to errata X-Git-Url: https://git.stricted.de/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=bd9240a18e;p=GitHub%2FLineageOS%2Fandroid_kernel_motorola_exynos9610.git x86/apic: Add TSC_DEADLINE quirk due to errata Due to errata it is possible for the TSC_DEADLINE timer to misbehave after using TSC_ADJUST. A microcode update is available to fix this situation. Avoid using the TSC_DEADLINE timer if it is affected by this issue and report the required microcode version.
