Subject: ALSA: hda: Use LPIB for a Shuttle device
X-Git-Url: https://git.stricted.de/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=61bb42c37dfa9016dcacc86bcd41362ab2457d4a;p=GitHub%2Fexynos8895%2Fandroid_kernel_samsung_universal8895.git

ALSA: hda: Use LPIB for a Shuttle device

BugLink: https://launchpad.net/bugs/551949

Symptom: On the reporter's Shuttle device, using PulseAudio in Ubuntu
10.04 LTS results in "popping clicking" audio with the PA crashing
shortly thereafter.

Test case: Using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Linux 2.6.32.12), Linux 2.6.33, or
Linux 2.6.34, adjust the HDA device's volume with PulseAudio.

Resolution: add SSID for this machine to the position_fix quirk table,
explicitly specifying the LPIB method.
