can cause problems at least on some machines with NFS root:

Here PC is at __alloc_skb and &shinfo->dataref is unaligned because
skb->end can be unaligned without this patch.
As explained by Eric Dumazet <eric.dumazet@gmail.com>, this happens
only with SLOB, and not with SLAB or SLUB:
